Going Funky in Malta!!
Just back from 10 glorious days in Malta feeling refreshed and inspired!! Going to see what comes of the brush further down the line.
St Andrews goes Funky!
To help celebrate the University of St Andrews' 600th Birthday, Funky Scottish has produced some very special bowls, plates and tile coasters.
Only available in the St Andrews University Shop, these commemorative pieces illustrate some of the everyday scenes of student life in Scotland's first University, such as the traditional undergraduate Pier Walk shown on this stunning 33cm bowl.
Did you know.....
That the undergraduate gown is a brilliant scarlet, but that the graduation gown is black (traditionally worn with a white tie)? Well, we do and to show it, we're helping the leaders of tomorrow celebrate their achievement with specially designed Just for You Graduation Plates, ordered from the University Shop or from us directly. We've even had one order from a very confident parent for a graduation taking place in June 2013!
DON'T FORGET:
Our Just for You pieces are the perfect way to commemorate any special occasion or achievement - just take a look at some examples here.

10 September 2011: A great evening out
Acoustic Wave Cafe is
inspired by a long history of artists & entertainers seeking ways
to showcase their talents, in a creative, informal setting - from the cuban paladares and free spirited pop-up movement to the creative vibe around the East Neuk. It isn't an every day cafe, Acoustic Wave Cafe is an occasional, not for profit 'pop up' event. Beautiful music, delicious food & awesome art - by the sea.
Funky Scottish will be at the next event, soaking up the excellent music and atmosphere (and quite likely enjoying a stunning meal too) - so why not join us there?
Visit the Accoustic Wave Cafe website.

5-13 August 2011 - Pittenween Arts Festival
Now in its 29th year, the Arts Festival attracts visitors from far and wide. A picturesque fishing village, with narrow wynds running down to
the working harbour, Pittenweem’s unique atmosphere has attracted
many artists over the years with Funky Scottish being an integral part.
This year we are showing pieces from a number of local artists in the shop and gallery. In your festival Guide, you'll find us as Number 44. Come along to the grand opening on Friday 5th August and enjoy a wee glass of wine whilst meeting some of our artists.
